Old documents

Postby Graham » Wed May 29, 2019 8:10 am

I have a number of documents that go back several years..... and are now showing as "exec".
I would like to clean house but believe they have valuable information in regards to my career.
Is there anyway to access them.
OS 10.13.6

Yes. If you can recall what program was likely used to create them, try renaming the extension to that which would have been used by the original program (for example, .doc for an old Word document).

If the program that created them is no longer available, like .cwk for AppleWorks, you’re probably out of luck.
