Frustrating.
I was impacted by the recent outage of Outlook email a couple of weeks ago. Upon advice at the recent VMUG general meeting only on my computer I removed the mail account as it would not verify based on my entry of the password. Now it will not add back on as a new account. I am using the "other mail account" option and filling in my outlook email address and adding the password. Still complains this is not correct and will not add.
Yes I know you will say it's my wrong name or password. But when I entered the same password requested on my iPhone (without removing the account) it immediately verified and all was good for it there. I also can use the Microsoft login in Safari, (same name and password) no problem and it will allow me to access my email outlook web mail client online there also.
I do know the Microsoft added a "passkey" on my computer version when it was last working months ago. That way I could just just my fingerprint key on the keyboard of my M1 iMac and access it directly. Don't know if this has any impact not on not as far as being able to add it back onto my iMac Mail.
Thanks
Colin
