Aitan could use some help with floppy discs

From Aitan: "I’ve got a client who’s trying to retrieve a novel that they wrote from some 800K Mac-formatted floppy disks, so I’m looking for a functioning computer from that era something running macOS 7.1 or maybe macOS 8."

What would also work is if anyone still has a USB-based external 3" floppy drive that can read the old 800K formatted Mac floppies. Most USB floppy drives only read the 1.44MB (if memory serves) or later.

There is a good chance my old G3 Power Mac or Smoke coloured iMac with my external drive will be an answer for this. (both still operational) If not my SE 30 or Iici could be tested out for another option once extracted from my crawl space. The Apple 11e is probably too old! (Quite laughing as I date myself !!)
