What's the cheapest way to get coverage while on two week vacation in England need texting most,then email and FaceTime

I'm going there soon myself. I've been advised by my friends there to seek out pretty much any cellphone reseller (Carphone Warehouse or Currys PC World are solid choices) and ask for a PAYG sim card and a two-week plan. Very generous data with plenty of phone and text minutes for cheap.

UK provider Three has a deal where you get (for £20) 3000 texts, 300 minutes, and 12GB of data. Works for a hotspot too. The SIM may cost a few quid extra.

Vodafone for £30 topup (free sim) gets you 12GB UK data, unlimited UK minutes and texts.
