Hello,
I have tried several times to sign into chat.openai.com. It appears I have created a username and password. But when it asks me to type my iPhone number for verification it tells me it is a voIP and requests I input a proper phone number.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Does anyone know how to fix this?

Assuming this is the real web page for ChatGPT (there are literally hundreds if not thousands of fake scam pages), try including a 1 in front of your 250xxxxxx (or whatever your area code is). It is possible that the US-based site doesn’t recognise your number as being outside the US. Make sure this is a valid mobile phone number, NOT a home phone number.

There was a #1 imbedded as well as Canadian marker (flag). The website was
chat.openai.com. Seems to be always on top of feed.
I wanted to sign up for the free version.
Do you happen to know other authentic chat ai sites with free version I could try?
