Hi Charles, Lately when I've tried to sift into my bank account the computer sends a message. It says "This connection is not secure. The website does not support connecting securely over HTTPS. I've never had a problem ever until recently. I may have changed a setting but cannot locate the problem. Any suggestions? David

I can't believe any bank would have a website that doesn't use HTTPS for logging in. Be VERY careful that you are connecting to your bank via its official website url and not getting the url from some other source. Sounds like you aren't on the real bank website. You don't say what browser you use and whether on a Mac or iPhone. If you have an iPhone you should get the bank's app (again make sure you get the real bank app from the Apple app store).

Hi Dave,
Thanks for the note. I'm using Safari and this is the same website I've always used. Naturally the first thing I thought was that I didn't type in the correct website. But checked and it was right. I deleted my history thinking that might clear out any fraudulent websites. I have to admit I'm not very good at reading about fixing issues. My problem is I have extreme dyslexia and reading technical jargon makes it very difficult and very slow. I've tried several YouTube videos but any that address Safari settings are 3 years old and don't resemble the setting I have on 15.4. I do have an iPhone SE but the screen is too small and much of the information does not show on the screen. The people who developed the app did not take into account smaller screens. I just bought a new iPhone 16 but not had time to set it up yet.
Enough excuses.
Is there anything you can suggest I try. I do have Edge on my computer and I believe I can access my account thru that browser. I'l try that next. Security is top of mind and I'm not as sure Edge is as secure as Safari. But I don't trust my Safari settings now.
I did think of deleting Safari and reloading it from the Apple Store. But when I went to the Apple Store and typed in Safari the only things that came up were secondary apps for safari - not safari itself. Again, I could be reading it incorrectly (dyslexia strikes again).
Thanks, David
