Is this a good idea? Where can I find these, ? my iPad keeps remembering incorrect locations (like in Costco.ca)
And also show notes.
Thanks

Cookies are generally harmless bits of data websites store on your own computer (in the browser) so that it can do things such as refer to you by name when you return to the site, quickly show you things you have previously ordered, remember your birthday, the number of times you have visited, and so on.

Not all cookies are quite that innocuous, but most are — and they are generally not a security issue. That said, they can fairly be seen as a potential privacy issue, so if you want to clear them you can generally do so from the settings of any browser you use.

Regarding shownotes.ca specifically (Alan’s logbook of items from his radio shows), if you have that bookmarked from before July, you should delete the bookmark, visit shownotes.ca again by typing it directly into your browser’s address bar, and then re-bookmark it.

Thanks Charles. I was thinking of the cookies, as I don’t have show notes bookmarked, and when I put show notes in task bar, it takes me to the cfax show notes. Not tech talk 2022. Alan sent me a link, I can open it, but it doesn’t let me add to Home Screen. It worked on my phone. Not my iPad

Works the same on iPhone and iPad. Hit the share button (box with arrow pointing up), scroll down to “add to Home Screen.”

So the solution to getting show notes was to bring it up on a different browser. When I use safari it took me to the old link. When I clicked on Alan’s link, it was for a live document, which I wasn’t able to put on my home page. All is well now, thanks for ur input
