Any help on this, please? Thanks!

There's a variety of options here. Some details on how the music recording was made (what app) on the iPhone and how big the resulting file is (if you don't know, how much time is the recording) would also be helpful.

You could:
1. Email the file to yourself
2. Place it in a cloud storage service like iCloud or Dropbox, et al.
3. Many recording programs on the Mac have the ability to set up a "mini server" to allow a Mac (or other device) to connect and transfer the file
4. Use other options found in the "share" menu of the app you use to play the file
5. Syncing the iPhone to the Mac via iTunes may also be used to transfer the file (again depends on more data about the file and how it was created)
6, AirDrop the file from the iPhone to the Mac
