Find my Mac issue?

Do we have a problem? On my M2 Mac Mini, going to System Settings > name (at the top) > Devices and clicking on my Mac Mini shows "Find My Mac" between the "Serial Number" and "Wallet & Apple Pay" items.
On my wife's M2 MacBook Air there is no such entry (Find My Mac) to be seen there. Both machines on the latest Ventura. However if we look at her iPhone and under Settings > name (at the top) and click on her device (MacBook Air) it does show up on the map when I click on "Show in Find My" so all appears to be OK but I am curious why it it doesn't show the entry as described above.

I can explain the phone part … on iOS “Find My” is an app.

Presumably, your wife has her own Apple ID account. Did she register the device to her account?

Still pondering... :) Yes, she has her own Apple ID which is in use when she logs into her user account on her MB Air.

Going back to your previous reply (using the "Fine My" app on the phone) I hadn't being using that app but rather just finding the devices via a path in Settings. Just checked her iPhone now, and using her "Find My" app there it is showing both her iPhone and her MB Air at our location so all is well. Just a curiosity why the difference I described in my original post between what my Mac Mini shows and what her MB Air shows in Settings exists. but I will stop worrying about it now.
