Is there a way to get a full iPhone User Manual in a form (eg. PDF) that can be printed out.
A friend that just bought a new iPhone 7 (with almost no recent Mac experience and no previous smartphone experience) would like to sit down with the printed manual so he can follow it through as he sets it up for the first time and then explores beyond the basic setup. He wants to have the manual beside him - NOT an onscreen manual that assumes he has it already working.
I know there is an iBook version - he is a Windows guy so I assume he can’t get that on his Windows computer (i.e. I am assuming there is no Windows version of the iBook store - is that correct?) But even so I don’t believe such a book can be printed.
And I know he can go to the Apple web site and the support section and read the manual online - NOT what he wants to do. And that manual doesn’t appear to be printable due to all the imbedded links between pages that wouldn’t work in a printed version.
And I did find a separate setup guide I could save as a PDF and have sent that to him, but he wants the full manual for going beyond the setup.
So how do old school guys who like to work from a printed manual handle a first time iPhone purchase when they are mostly Windows oriented?
