Will you be watching it on Zoom? If so, the program has a built-in screen recorder.

Otherwise, you can use the Mac itself to record your screen or a portion thereof. Here's how.

Say Chas, Do you have any tips on how to get the audio to record well using the Quicktime Player method? I am using a Mac Mini with an Asus display so have had to use a Logitech webcam. If I use the QT record options with microphone set to "none", of course I get no sound recorded. If I instead set the record options with microphone set to "HD Pro Webcam C920" I get sound at very low volume and very muddy as the webcam tries to pick up what it hears from external speakers I have mounted on a shelf above and slightly behind the display. I have also tried unplugging those external speakers so I just get the sound from the garbage internal speakers in my display but that gave equally poor results in the screen recording. What would be nice is some way to route the internal audio directly to the recording without needing to depend on the microphone to pick up what it hears.
