I managed to save a YouTube video to my iMac desktop (thanks Chas, for suggesting Downie for that step.) Next I tried to AirDrop it to my iPhone
I went through (what I thought) were the correct steps, and in fact the video showed up on my iPhone and I played a bit of it to confirm it worked. However now I can find no trace of it. I have searched for it by name in the iPhone search box and it doesn't find it.
Earlier today I used AirDrop to move a TextEdit document to my iPhone and it asked which application to put it in (I chose Notes) and that worked properly. With this recent video it did not ask "which application" so I assumed iMovie perhaps but there is no sign of the video there.
I would appreciate a suggestion on where to look.
