It is with great sadness that I have to announce the passing of Peter Sandeman-Allen. I was shocked to see the email, and am deeply moved by this loss. Peter has been a regular attendee at our general meetings, and a VMUG member since 1997.
I am grateful that I had the opportunity to talk with Peter on many occasions, and found Peter to be a prominent light within the group, always engaging with bright youthful eyes whenever he and I spoke. Clearly Peter was an individual who lived his life with joy and enthusiasm.
Doubtless many of you have experiences of Peter to share, either in person or on the Listserv. Out of respect for his family, rather than publish the contact email address we have been provided, I would be honoured to forward on any sentiments the group may want to share. this community was a significant part of his life, and I know his family would be comforted by our well wishes.
