Photos App on Apple TV - "No Network"

After Chas presented the Apple TV at today's Sidney SIG I came home to play...

On my iMac, under the iTunes "File" menu heading, I have set up Home Sharing and the photos to share with Apple TV.

On my 4th gen Apple TV, I normally go to the Computers icon and work my way to the photos and can then show any of the photos I have set up to be shared there, I have never really noticed or played with the Photos app on the Apple TV.

When I tried using the Photos app on the Apple TV today, it just throws up a message saying the network is not available. I suspect this is just a bogus message that really means something else is set up wrong. Why can I see my photos under the "Computers" section, but not from the Photos app?

The "Photos" app on your Apple TV uses Photo Stream or your iCloud Photo Library, whereas "Computers" uses Home Sharing to pull directly from your networked computer.

Thanks for this tip on where to look, Chas.

I use Photostream to get photos from my iPhone to my iMac, so now I will have to look to see how I use Photostream to get photos from my iMac to my AppleTV
