I see advertised every so often about scanning old photos using your iPad or phone. I have an iPad Pro and iPhone 6. Are there any apps anyone can recommend for scanning old photographs? Thx! Bonnie

Given the right lighting conditions, you can create a "scan" of old photos by simply taking a picture of them with your iPad's/iPhone's built-in camera.
The result is *considerably* inferior to using an actual scanner attached to a Mac or PC, but depending on the need it may be more than sufficient for using for, as an example, posting to Facebook or a web site. No special software is required to do this.
