Some USB-C hubs may not work with MacBook Neo

MacWorld is reporting that USB-C hubs that require being plugged into two ports will not work with the MacBook Neo. This is likely because only one of the ports USB3 — the other is the much slower USB 2.

So if you’re going to buy a MacBook Neo and a hub to expand the number of connectors, get a hub that will plug into the USB 3.0 port only.

The remaining USB 2.0 port will still be perfectly fine for things like wired keyboards and mice, and USB thumb drives.

For the record I haven't see a hub that requires plugging into two ports in a long time, at least for Apple stuff.
