Tariffs and Buying New Apple Hardware

Are the new tariffs expected to hike the price of new Apple computers? Is it better to buy locally or straight from Apple? Businesses do not seem to have much stock.

As of this moment (04-Feb), the mutual US-Canada tariffs have been called off for 30 days, so there are no tariffs on any Apple purchases at this time.

But if you're in the market, I would buy this month.

Great suggestion Charles. Mine is now 10 years old and does not get security updates, So... Off to the Apple Store.
And Diane, Aitan suggested buying from Apple instead of other suppliers. London Drugs is sold out of iMacs and I suspect the same is true of many retailers. Dave
