Unique invitation in Zoom

My wife needs to host a meeting with Zoom. She wants to use her MacBook Pro. As my daughter has used Zoom quite a bit for meetings for work using her browser on a PC, we started out using the web based version of Zoom on the MB Pro. She scheduled a (test) meeting with myself and daughter, sending an email with the invitation and link, and supposedly was recording the meeting as part of the test. All appeared well and she eventually ended the meeting. We found a file in a Zoom folder but couldn't open the recording. We then switched to the Zoom app on her MB Pro (rather than the web version) and she scheduled another meeting, again sending an email invitation and link. When that meeting ended, the recording converted properly and we could play it back. BUT... looking at the two emails she sent (one for each meeting) the link was identical. Surely we have overlooked a setting that would generate a new different link with a password embedded for each new meeting? Can someone please advise?

Part of the URL for a Zoom meeting will always be the same because you're using the same "Meeting ID" (user ID). If you don't set a unique password when you schedule the meeting, it will probably re-use the last password set -- which, if I'm correct, would be why the two meeting URLs were identical.

We have played with this a lot in various tests, getting ready for her meeting and I think we have found the setting that generates a new distinct URL each time she schedules a meeting. I don't have her computer handy to check right now, but will try and find out what setting seemed to do the trick when I can get my hands on it again.
