So i have an apple iphone 16 pro and i wanted to get another usbc adapter (i already have a 20W for my ipad air) didn't get one with phone.

Costco has a DUAL 35w for $68 (they are abit bigger and heavier) which would be good for travel or amazon has a 20W for $18.

Also at costco are a 2 pack anker charger 30w for $29.99.

What are your thoughts on the difference. I feel it good to have a backup. Does the 35w charge faster ? Thank you

I use a 20 W charger on my iPhone 15 Pro and it is fast enough for me. A higher wattage charger will charge faster, but with a shortening of battery life (although you may not notice the difference in the time you keep your phone.) The main thing is to stick with a known brand. "No-name" brands can pose a safety risk not only to the phone but also to you. (potential for fire etc.) You mention an Anker charger as the third item which would be fine. You don't specify what brand the first two items are (the dual 35W or the 20W). You paid a lot for that 18 Pro. Now don't skimp on what you are going to power it with.

Thanks for your thoughts Dave. The 35w and 20w are Apple devices. I agree with you, that it is so important with charging devices to have a known brand. I phoned Apple and they suggested keeping to brands that are listed on their site. (Belkin, Apple, anker)
Amazon had an Apple 20w for $18 so I ordered it.
I also did a test and the 35w took longer to charge. The only advantage is the dual port
35w
8% at 8:01 after 1 hour 73% at 9:01. After 1 1/2 hours charge 81%

20w
7% at 4:58 after 1 hour 84% at 5:58. After 1 1/2 hours charge 96%. So unless u need to charge 2 devices the 20w is best option.
