Very odd iPhone issue

When I am at home and a call comes in it rings once and goes directly to voice mail. BUT if I go about 30 meters from my house I can receive calls normally. AND my wife can receive calls normally in our house. So, what could be affecting call reception just on my phone and only in or close to our house?

My theory on this is that the iPhone thought there was some other device in the house (iPad, Apple Watch, HomePods, something) that was being used by you and so trying to route the call to that device, but the target device was muted or incapable of receiving the relayed call. This only changes when you are far enough away from your house that cellular has to take over.
