Is there anyway to delete a post that you have created, but made a mess of, and would like to start over?

As an administrator I am able to edit or delete any post. I'll look at the member permissions to see if there is a setting to allow regular members to edit and/or delete their own posts.

It looks like registered users have permissions set to allow editing and deleting their own posts. It this is working correctly, there should be Edit and Delete links at the bottom of your posts.

Thanks Terry,
In posting a reply in the Miscellaneous section last night I somehow created a second post that was really messed up. Upon looking at it now I saw no Edit or Delete links that your described. Then I realized I hadn't actually completed the final step to post it, so while I was seeing it, probably no-one else was. So I just had to highlight all the content and hit my delete key. I then really did post a Test post and then found the edit and delete links you described (since that one really was posted) and then I could delete it.
