I have successfully installed Parallels and Windows 10 trial version on my 2020 intel MacBook Pro. I purchased "Windows 10 OEM is a full version of the operating system (*not an upgrade*) • Windows 10 OEM is intended for pre-installation on a new PC and cannot be transferred to another computer once installed.' from a BestBuy reseller. I have received the DVD but not opened it as I am not sure it will give me what I need. Will it or should I return it? See attached file.

I don't know what Windows software you need or want to run, whether it's mission critical, or your experience with Parallels. Many find it great; others complain of ongoing upgrades that drive up its cost, on top of which you need a Windows license. If you need a Windows-like experience, Parallels might be the best approach.

This should work fine given the specific limitation you quoted — that it cannot be installed on another computer ever. I’m a little confused as to why Best Buy is selling non-consumer versions of windows, but I gave up trying to understand their logic a long time ago.
