Hello Everyone,

I’m sorry that it has been so long since I last contributed to this newsletter.
With such extraordinary times around and ahead of us, every body is doing their best to adapt to the times. This coming General Meeting we will embark upon our own adaptation, and conduct the entire meeting over a Zoom video conferencing session.
As an IT consultant, I have had an interesting view of the last month—an unprecedented surge to move business functionality online. By the time the pandemic came upon us, many of the businesses I have been working with had largely moved all of their data online. The last and most transformative move—actually working without an office space—catapulted them the toward adopting video conferencing as a foundation to their businesses.
The internet it seems has become our Ark, and after years migrating our data into the cloud we have forcibly pushed off the dock, and are adrift.
So we have to change radically too. We have to embrace technology now more than ever to keep us close to each other. If there was ever any doubt that technology has the power to bring us together, it ought now been put to rest.

How COVID-19 is causing a massive shift in online communication and collaboration & Overview of Peer to Peer Video Software
Plus Business Meeting, Q&A, Mini-Presentation
Gather Online — 6:30pm
Meeting Starts — 7:00pm
We will send out another email to remind you on Tuesday afternoon, but in the meantime, please try clicking on the link above—you won’t be able to go into the meeting ahead of time, but it will present options to download the necessary software for first time users to get setup between now and Wednesday night. Plan to be there early, and we’ll do our best to help any stragglers in.
Please note that as this pandemic and the need for video meetings develops, we will assess what tools we are going to use moving forward. We’re not set on Zoom for the long-term, but for now, it is one tool that many are already using.
I look forward to seeing you all—business as usual.
