Acorn TV help

I signed up for an Acorn TV subscription, mainly after hearing Chas rave about it, and he was not wrong. It is wonderful and offers just the kind of shows that my wife and I enjoy. But I am confused...
I can't recall exactly how I created my account with Acorn TV but suspect I did it through the Apple TV app on my Apple TV box. What I see on my Apple TV box is the Apple TV app and within that I find an Acorn TV app. But if I try to go there, it doesn't offer to let me log in, and instead just offers me a free 7 day trial. But I also have an Acorn TV app there, separate from my Apple TV app and if I go there, I am properly logged in and this is where we have been watching stuff.
I would like to be able to use my subscription to watch stuff on my iMac also. There doesn't appear to be an Acorn TV app in the Mac App Store but if I go to the Apple TV app on my iMac I find an Acorn TV icon there, but of course I am not logged in that way and don't see how to log in with my Acorn TV account details.
To add to the confusion, I went to the Acorn TV website and it says if you set up your account through a 3rd party go to MyAcorn TV to find out the details, but when I do that it tells me I am on a 7 day free trial. I have logged into the App Store however, and see that I am subscribed to Acorn TV.

But my basic question, remains... Can I watch Acorn TV stuff on my iMac now with my present subscrip

Even though you may have already signed up for the subscription, you will still be on the seven day trial. All this means is that your credit card will be charged after the seventh day.

Regardless of where you signed up for your subscription, you should see a “login“ icon if you’re not automatically logged in once your actual subscription begins on any of your other devices.

Obviously on iOS devices, you’ll need to get the Acorn TV app.

No I am not on a seven day trial. We have been using it for a couple of months now. So far Apple has been charging the monthly fee to what credit I have in my account. When that is used up I guess they will start charging to the Visa card they have on file. So if there is no Acorn TV app for macOS but I see and Acorn TV icon within the Apple TV app on my iMac, is there no way to log into my account there?

Here I am on my iMac in the Apple TV app...

I clicked on that Acorn TV thingy which takes me to this next window...

I see no way to sign in to an existing account here.

Ah, sorry I misunderstood the problem.

The solution is not to use the TV app on your Mac, but instead to go to acorn.tv (i.e., their website) and sign in there.

Thanks Chas,
Yes I was definitely over thinking this. As you said, I went to Acorn TV in Safari on my iMac, saw the login button and from there it all "just worked".
And thanks again for steering me to Acorn TV in the first place. Incredible stuff there.
