Adobe Flash Player

I have a message on my laptop that Adobe will stop supporting Flash player after Dec 31, 2020. The message goes on to say, Adobe will block Flash content from running in Flash player beginning January 12, 2021. There is an "Uninstall" button option. My question, is should I be selecting the "uninstall" ? The dialog box states that recommends removing Flash. I have no problem with doing so but is there a better way than using the "uninstall" button there. Thank you for your help. Cheryl

Definitely go and uninstall...I have poached this from an email sent some time ago by a Mac
friend in Duncan, Jean-Guy Mariage:

Just follow the instructions provided and you will no longer have Flash Player on your machine.
