I use an AirPad2 that is up-to-date and had probably 100 tabs open for various research.
Using the feature (whatever it is called) that opens the screen view to scroll through all the open tabs, a finger rested for just a bit too long on one and a popup occurred with 2-3 options. The only one I recall was "Close all Tabs" and in trying to get out of that popup, the inevitable happened. Having no Fail-Safe "Do you really want to do this?", everything gone in a flash. Not having seen this before, I subsequently learned I did all the wrong things ''https://discussions.apple.com/thread/250863148" and there appears to be no chance to reconstitute those tabs - at least that I am aware of.
I do not mind saying so but I think this is an incredibly stupid feature and might be fine for those who follow every nuance of what the techies build into updates over time but for those who do not, watch your finger(s).
