International sim card

I decided to get another SIM card fir my time in the states. 15 days. When I put this new card in, will all loose all information, meaning my contacts? Email is ok, but I will need availability to text on messenger or call someone. Is there an easy way to transfer some important contact info, or does the address book stay in tack.

On an iPhone, the SIM card is not used to store contacts. So yes, you can use a different SIM and all your information will be the same, except of course for the phone number (But you won’t lose your Canadian phone number when you get back and put your regular SIM back in.
