Something unusual in Internet Accounts

Having experienced a similar situation as the post for the mid-March Mail Account Failure, I opened up Mail-Accounts and did all the cross checking as noted in that previous Post. This has happened 2-3x before and for some unknown reason, has self corrected. What I do notice though for the recalcitrant email address is not Mail attached to it but Game Center !!!! and not being a gamer, I have to wonder how. More importantly, there appears to be no way to DELETE. Anybody have any thoughts on how to remove?

You don’t remove it. It’s not an email account, it’s an Internet Account. Almost any sort of game, particularly casual games you might get from the App Store, use Game Center to hold your score history and, if desired, connect you with friends so you can play together. It will be there whether you are using it or not; it’s part of your Apple ID. Pay it no mind.
