To get Google Earth for Mac

When try to get Google earth, Street View, msg says I must go to my admin for permission. If it is possible to get GE how do I do it - need street view and few other functions.

PS - Why is GE for MAC not in Apple Store?

I have heard here is some animosity between Google and Apple which could explain why GE isn't in the Apple Store.

Apps for Mac don’t have to be in the Apple Store, though most are. Google Earth for iOS and iPadOS is available in the App Store.

The Mac version is Google Earth Pro, so you may run into the same issue. If you just need Street View, may I strongly suggest Apple Maps‘ “look around” feature. It’s not available everywhere yet, sadly, but it is available throughout North America and Europe and is IMO streets better than the largely outdated-now Street View.

Bonus, Apple Maps doesn’t spy on you while you’re using it!
