13-inch M1 macbook air - bad screen

Hi all. An acquaintance has a macbook air M1, 8GB Ram, 256GB SSD. Unfortunately it has a 3cm strip on the right of the screen that is noise. She's looking to se how much it would be worth to sell. Should be fine working with an external monitor and is otherwise in great condition.

Any ideas or offers?

Given that that’s a recent model, you might see if she has AppleCare on it, in which case it would be repaired for free.

Otherwise, check with an AASP (Apple Authorised Service Provider) like Simply or London Drugs to find out how much it would cost to fix it out-of-warranty.

I'm afraid there's no AppleCare. She's already bought a new one - it was $700 to replace the screen.
