Apple Podcast App chapter art

While listening to the appleinsider podcast via my Apple Podcast app (macOS 13.5.1) host Stephen Robles sometimes refers to showing something in the "chapter art". The best I can see is this: (a tiny little image at the top of the screen).



Is there some way I haven't discovered to make this bigger? I understand there are changes coming to the Podcast app in the upcoming updates. Perhaps I have to be patient until then?

I believe that you can click on the thumbnail and it will show the image larger. Also, if you switch to the "mini-player" view, the artwork is already shown larger automatically.

PS. The AppleInsider Daily podcast also now has chapter markers and artwork!

Wow, I haven't a clue how to get into the mini-player view!

I am constantly making little tweaks to the wording of things.

OK, I will ask the question again... I am still not able to see the "chapter art". (Possibly I am referring to it incorrectly?) If I do a search of "chapter art" I haven't been able to find any articles discussing this, making me think "chapter art" isn't the correct term to discuss these images.

In this recent AppleInsider podcast Stephen Robles said "I will put this in the chapter art" and this is what I saw.


He then went on at great length talking about the image indicated by the arrow (above) and I would really like to look at that image properly.

I should mention I am on the latest Sonoma macOS but this problem existed before in Ventura.

There is no way I can find on the Mac Podcast app to see that chapter art (yes, that's the right term for it) any larger. On the podcast app on iPhone, you can tap the chapter art to bring up the larger view.

Ah, thanks for that explanation. I will quit wasting time trying to enlarge that when following podcasts on my Mac. The next time I am facing that, I will grab my iPhone and see what I can do.

Yes thanks. I tried the AppleInsider podcast on my iPhone to confirm I could see the chapter art there (which worked perfectly.) Unfortunately I tend to follow podcasts on my Mac so I guess I am out of luck. But of course when I am on the AppleInsider Daily Podcast if you throw up an image I really want to see properly, I can always switch to my iPhone.
