Copy cloud storage going away

For those of you who use the Copy cloud storage offering, I just received notification that it is being discontinued on May 1.

So if you have files stored there, you had better consider making sure you have them somewhere else before that date.

Thanks for this info. For some reason I didn't get a notification, or it passed into my junk filter.

Disappointing, but that's what happens when there are too many competing services in a given area: the big guys consolidate with, or drive out, the littler ones.

Their notification of this was very strange. I was doing something else at the time and a little black box appeared at the bottom right corner of my desktop with the notice that Copy was being discontinued. I have never seen such a notification before = almost like stuff I see on my daughter's PC when her virus detector reports on some abnormal activity but very unMaclike to me.

But I went to copy.com which took me to https://www.copy.com/page/home;section:landing

and a message there confirmed it for me so I cancelled my account now while I was thinking about it.
