My wife has a small web site for her textile art business. Years ago because we had all Telus services, we just went with their free web hosting and back then the web site was created with iWeb. When iWeb was dropped we converted to Sandvox. It has worked well enough for her purposes ever since with occasional updates to the content as new projects are completed.
But now Telus has just dropped the service "without warning". (We should have been expecting it after the way they handled email.) I might have expected they would contact us before dropping the website but I guess that is too much effort to make for a lifetime Telus customer.
Trying to visit the website now just puts up a Telus message saying they are discontinuing the service:
"Due to aging hardware, TELUS has made the decision to shutdown Subscriber Web Domain Hosting and FTP Service. All associated websites are no longer available"
So we need to find another host for the web site. What do people recommend?
