Aíralo on a cruise ship.

Hi all, I am considering a cruise to Alaska from vancouver. Now would Airalo work while out at sea, or would it be necessary only on land? I could get a US plan. Or I can use a “ Test drive” from one of the carriers and get a US number, but again would this only work on land. Thank you

All of the options you mention will be mostly non-functional while you are out at sea, since you will be too far away from any towers. They will work as expected once you get close to land.

Be aware that Airalo is DATA ONLY, so no traditional phone calling. You can use data-based calling apps like Skype, FaceTime, etc.
