Within my Documents folder, I have lots of sub folders on various topics. I just noticed that most of these have a "Date Modified" as July 14, 2023 and just after 10 pm even though they haven't been touched in years in some cases. I was wondering if this happened when doing an update to macOS but I don't usually do such updates in the evening. Does anyone have an idea what would cause this? (If I go inside such folders, none of the files there have this new date but if there is another folder within that one, it will also have the new date.)
I should add that if I now modify or add a file within one of these folders, the date modified for the folder will now correct itself to the date and time I did such a change, so it is more of a curiosity what could have happened on July 14 to change all the folders.
