The random happening of the "Disk not ejecting properly" occurred again this morning.... The first report was two days ago...
Strange to say the least

Maybe since there is no response here, someone could tell me were to go.... as in .... information as to my problem.
All "where to goes" will be accepted with interest.

I seem to remember a similar post from you that described a similar problem ... the issue is that the computer is going to sleep and the external hard drives are not being ejected properly before that happens. The solution (if I recall correctly) was to manually eject the hard drives before putting the machine to sleep for the evening.

If you are powering down your computer completely, you must eject the drives manually before this happens. Not doing so will, sooner or later, corrupt the external drives.

This happening of the disk not ejecting properly.... is truly random. It did not occur since last Sat (morning) when I awoke and again this morning (Tues)
Every nite the routing is the same.... It is set to sleep after x number of minutes. So.... since the routine is the same every night then one would think that the alert windows would be there every night. It begs the question.... this damn computer has a mind of its own..!!!!!!!

By any chance is the power being turned off to the computer, eg a power bar being turned off? This would produce these warnings.
