I mainly use iTunes for music when walking or driving, using my iPod Touch to play my playlist's music in the "random" order.
But I find that each time I am out, it seems to play the same tunes each time. Sure it is a bit random in that it doesn't play all the tunes by a given artist in order and skips around, but it never gets to some tunes at all and I seem to hear the same small subset of the playlist each time.
I can understand that if I have a number of complete albums by artists "A", "B" and "C" and only one piece by artist "D", the odds are that I will hear several tunes from each of artist "A", "B" and "C" before it finds the one from artist "D" but this is not what is happening.
Rather, each time I am out, I hear the same tune from each of artist "A", "B" and "C", rarely a different piece from these artists and never seem to get the one by artist "D"
Hardly a true random behaviour. Is this everyone's experience, or is there some other setting I need to tweak to get it playing the way I would hope.
