Weirdly spelled message

Opened up my 2015 MacBook air and saw a message on the screen. It was incorrectly spelled (not usual for a mac message) and clicked cancel. It kept coming back. I shut down the mac and when I started it up the message was gone. Was I right in assuming this was not from Apple
