Xerox printer not responding properly

A Xerox 6600 DN, which has been printing satisfactorily all along, is not responding as it should.
This is after upgrading to OS 12.2
An upgrading of the Xerox Print Driver, to 5.10.0, has not helped.
The task wanted at the moment is for the printer to print from the Bypass Tray.
The goal is to print the second side of a letter-size sheet of light card stock, the first side having been printed successfully PRIOR to the upgrading of the OS.
Thanks,
Dick

Is this printer connected directly via USB, or used via Wi-Fi?

You should certainly be able to specify you only want page 2, then specify the tray you're going to use and put the card stock in reversed of the other side. Are you saying it won't do that?

That is true; it won't do that. It DID previously.
When a file is sent (Cmd-P) the Print Queue window shows the file being loaded and almost as quickly goes blank.
It seems that the file has gone to the printer because, when I closed the Bypass and inserted fully the main paper tray, it printed off a number of "stored" files - which were previously-sent files for attempted Bypass action.
