Blink doorbell shows on iPhone but not Apple 8

Hi when I first got the Blink video doorbell and had a subscription for five dollars a month it worked faultlessly on my Apple Watch. I don’t want or need a subscription and when the blink doorbell is used the notification shows up on my iPhone, but not my iApple. Wat h Blink help line did their best and worked once.

I’m not familiar with Blink so this may be dumb advice, but … do you have the Blink app on your phone?

Hi Thx! For some unknown reason, the Blink has decided, recently of its own volition it’s decided to work on my Apple Watch..but to answere your question I did
have the app on my Apple products.

Is your iPhone 8 running the current iOS version?

I’m glad it’s now working on the Watch and iPad. Maybe check “background app refresh” on your iPhone to make sure the Blink app has permission to use both Wi-Fi AND cellular.
