Icon in Dock

Yesterday while will working I went to the dock.... and the icon for Fire Fox had changed to a Generic(?) symbol. I replaced it from the application folder, and restarted the computer - iMac 2.8 GHz Intel core i5 – 0S X 10.12.6 See screen shot Can't get the proper Icon to dispalay

Pull the icon up and far away from the dock, which causes it to go "poof." THEN replace Firefox in the dock by dragging it from the Application folder to your dock. That should do the trick.
