New Software Shortcut

I have added Aurora HDR 2018 to my MacBookPro to use with Lightroom and Photoshop. Unlike the latter two, an icon shortcut did not show up in the Launchpad and I cannot find it under Finder-Applications. you do see the Install Aurora HDR 2018 shortcut icon on the Desktop together with the popup box (whatever it is called).
How do you create an icon to put in Launchpad?

Have you actually dragged the Aurora icon onto the Applications icon as that window you showed is suggesting you do?

When you ran the installer, I think that window appeared. it is telling you that in order to complete the installation you should drag the Aurora application into your Applications folder. You can do that by just dragging the former icon onto the latter icon in this window.
