So exploring the new options with iOS 16.2

I did the Lock Screen, I love my picture I have chosen, however there is no facial recognition required to open the phone.
I just swip up and all my data is available. Including the wallet. Is it a matter of redoing my Face ID?
I wanted to check before i do this. Thanks. Happy exploring

Are you sure, as Face-ID can be pretty fast? Hold it away from your face at an angle and try then.

This wouldn't be a change introduced in 16.0.2 If you had to use FaceID before, you should still need it now (unless you have an iPhone with TouchID of course.) What phone is it? I don't think it can be set up without a passcode being defined either. What happens if you go to Settings > FaceI? It should ask for your passcode before letting you into whatever you have defined for FaceID

Thanks Jentek and Dave. It seems to be ok, as I tried with another person. I do have the 11 pro. Yes, I had to put in my passcode before the Face ID.
In bold thou it was red Reset Face ID. Is this normal (being red?)

Yes, you likely need to reset your Face ID, so go into settings and do that. Only takes a minute.
