Selected Volume has insufficient space ....

Using. Mac 24" Mid 2007 El Capital 10.11.6. I cannot update this computer anymore.

I am trying to install Graphisoft/Bimix for viewing flythrough architectural plans. I have a BIMx Desktop Viewer disc now on the desktop but when I try to complete the download I get the following: - see attached also.
"The selected volume has insufficient space to install GRAPHISOFT BIMx 'Desktopviewer. Select another Volume".

Have been on line and cannot figure out what or even if I can actually do this. How do I get a 3D viewer? Is that an application that has to be purchased? Is this something that does not come with the Mac? What other Volume could I select - if that is possible?

I know, I know, I need a new computer!
TIA G

This is, pretty clearly, a badly-written Mac installer intended for Windows (and a terrible port job it is). There's no "p:" drive on a Mac, for starters. Makes me wonder if you are trying to install the application back onto the "drive" (installer disk) it came from.

That, or your boot drive genuinely is completely full (as indicated by the screenshot) and if that's the case you have WAAAAAY bigger problems than trying to install a new app.

Find out how much free space you have on your boot drive and let us know.
