We are sharing an I Mac with OS X El Capitan Version 10.11.2. What I want to do is to have access to my wife's music in her account on i Tunes. I currently have no music on "my" i Tunes. We have tried to follow whatever instructions we found on i Tunes Help and through Google but it seems we are missing one or more steps since her music does not seem to show on my side We are using the current version of i Tunes (12.3.2). Can someone provide a simple step by step description of how to make this happen? This is my first question on this site so I hope it is not too elementary for consideration. Thanks.

We had the same problem. We ended up using just my wife's account for music and apps that we share on all our devices. We buy itunes cards when they are on sale and use them for just the 1 account. We decide which songs we sinc to ipads and iphones.
This is probably not the answer you are looking for but it works. I rarely use my Cdn and US iTunes accounts unless what I am looking for is not in my wife's Cdn iTunes account.
