The few I’ve seen on the market now are really expensive ($100 and up) for no reason. I would recommend a well-rated USB 3.0 unit and an adapter to USB-C, which is likely to be much cheaper.
Not 3.0, because there aren’t any burners that can burn the media quicker than what USB 3.0 can do due to the limitation of the physical media. USB 2.0, yes.
