On my iMac I was recently posting an email to a friend. I typed his name in the "To" field and did not notice that it had filled in an old email address that he no longer uses. I had removed that old one from Contacts so knew it didn't come from there. In the Mail app I know to go under the "Window" menu heading to "Previous Recipients. I searched for his name there, found the old one and removed it. Done! (I thought!)
So the next time I went to send him an email I typed in his name and there was his old email address still being suggested under a heading "Siri Found in Apps". But no hint as to which App.
So next I went to the search magnifying glass in my menu bar and started typing in his name. This time in the left column I got the same cryptic "Siri Found in Apps", but in the right hand panel it showed his name, his old email address, a reference to FaceTime (don't think I have ever FaceTime called him) and message, call, video and mail icons. I have had a look when in FaceTime with no luck finding it. Have I been led down a garden path. Help please, weeding this out.
